Senior Citizens Needs Analysis

ICON has received funding through the Dormant Accounts Fund to carry out a survey of older people living in the North East Inner City. The survey will aim to identify the extent to which the needs of older people are currently being met and ways in which the needs of older people are currently being met and ways in which the services provided to older people might be improved over the next few years.

A team of local researchers, all of whom are local residents and have lived in the area for a long period of time, will be trying to make contact with as many older people as possible bewteen June 2007 and September 2007. The local researchers will be asking about the ways in which services and facilities might be improved for older people.
